Another ‘no comment’ from children’s service agency involved with Jarrod Tutko case

Children’s services officials in New Jersey said Tuesday they are “legally prohibited” from discussing their role with the family of nine-year-old Jarrod Tutko Jr., who died in Harrisburg in late July weighing 16.9 pounds.

New Jersey’s “no comment” comes after children’s services officials in Dauphin County said Tuesday morning they could not comment. Schuykill county officials could not be reached for comment about their role with the Tutko family.

Kimberly and Jarrod Tutko Sr. were each charged with criminal homicide Monday in connection with the starvation death of their son, Jarrod Jr.
